Why are these nail clippers for seniors better than all the others? My dad was shocked...

Since I moved to a bigger city for work, my dad and I don't spend as much time together as we should.

Dad is 78 years old, but despite his age he is very active and whenever we get together, instead of sitting at home, we prefer to spend time together with sports.

The other day we went to the swimming pool and he seemed to be limping and walking slower than usual.

I didn't pay attention to it at first, but when he came out of the locker room and took off his flip-flops to get into the pool, the sight of his feet shocked me.

His nails looked terrible. Thick, gnarly and yellowed, growing into the skin

"For God's sake Dad, what happened to your nails!" - I shrieked at the sight of his feet.

At first he pretended not to hear me, but after repeated urging, he confessed that he'd been neglecting his nail care lately.

"They're hard to squeeze and they always make my hands hurt. For thick nails like mine, they're absolutely useless!" - He bristled at tongs like these:

I managed to persuade him to let me cut his nails, and it was immediately clear why he was struggling. Cutting his toenails with ordinary nail clipper prooved to be very difficult.

Searching the internet for a solution, I quickly discovered that my father's problem was nothing unusual. As we get older, the nails get harder and thicker and cutting them becomes more and more difficult.

And this starts to happen right at the time, when health problems such as a deterioration of fine motor skills, loss of strength in the hands, joint pain, or arthritis start to manifest.

Many seniors give up and begin to neglect trimming their toenails. However, this can have serious consequences...

Neglected nails often break, overgrow, cause pain and infections

I was complaining to a colleague at work that now I have to cut my father's nails myself because he can't do it himself, the wait to see a podiatrist is long and pedicures have become increasingly more expensive, when he suddenly stopped me and said:

"You dont need to cut his toenails. I know about something, with what he will be able to take care of them by himself..."

And told me that he and his mother-in-law dealt with an identical situation during the pandemic, when pedicurists were closed and getting to the doctor was nearly impossible.

He tried several clippers and scissors until he came across the special nail clipper for seniors that his mother-in-law uses to this day.

He showed me a picture of them on his cell phone and advised me to buy them for my father as well.

It sounded too good to be true. I was desperate though, so I decided to find out more about the Titanklip.

What is Titanklip PRO?

Titanklip PRO are nail clippers designed especially for seniors and people with health problems such as limited mobility, hand pain, reduced strength in the hands, joint pain, or arthritis.

They are so sharp that they cut the thickest and toughest nails on the first cut and they cut nails in an arc, not a round, thus preventing ingrown toenails.

The jaw has a cutting diameter of up to 2 centimetres, so they can easily get under any nail.

Plus, their large non-slip handle is held with the whole palm of the hand ( and not just the fingertips), so they're easy to squeeze and secure to hold even with sweaty hands.

The more I read, the more I was convinced that this is exactly what a senior like my dad needs.

I decided to give them a try

The order arrived in 2 days and as soon as I unwrapped them and grabbed them in my hand, I knew I had made the right choice.

Titanklip looked like a tool from a podiatrist's or pedicurist's office. I had never seen anything like it.

As soon as I could, I packed up the kids and the Titanklip and headed over to visit my dad.

My dad was initially incredulous, but as soon as he tried the clippers himself, his attitude changed.

"Wow! It's exactly like pliers, but made for toenails. The handle is great... it's easy to squeeze and it doesn't hurt your hands at all!"

...he concluded with a smile.

I was very relieved that I had found a nail clipper that he can cut his own nails with.

Dad is old school and depending on others with every little thing is the last thing he desires.
